Lord, You have been our dwelling place
in all generations. —Psalm 90:1
The Christian's real dwelling place is not bricks and mortar—it's
God. - The following words were on a sign outside a church in
England: "It doesn't matter where you live, as long as you live
where you are." If God is your dwelling place, you are living where
you are. If you're not content where you are, put your trust in God
and thank Him for all He's given you. ~Our

What is the Christian Church?
"that He might present
to Himself the church in all her glory, having
no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that
she should be holy and blameless," (Eph.
5:27).
The Church is the

assure you that a particular church is a good
church. If they are present, you can confidently
identify with it, work in it, and worship there
with enthusiasm and joy. But if these fundamentals
are missing or denied, beware! Be extremely
careful not to lend your assistance or support to
any group that rejects the clear teaching of God's
Word.
How, then,
can you recognize a good church? The place to
begin answering that question is to examine what a
church believes. Are its doctrines scriptural?
Does it have a clear statement of faith? Or does
it operate by the philosophy, "Anything goes"? ...
